Grey Knights

I am working on a small Grey Knights force,  taking a break from my Blood Angels. I have started with a Dread Knight from the Grey knights range its wonderful model and must for any Grey knights player a challenge as well to make the metal stand out.


I started with spray base coat of Platemail Metal by Army Painter to ensure a even and smooth base coat. Then a wash of Badab black ink thinned down with water is liberally washed over the entire model. if it looks uneven add another coat and leave to dry. Devlan mud wash thinned down with water one part water to one part ink.
Once this was dry the entire model was gently dry brushed with Mithril Silver, repeat this if you want a lighter finish to the armour.

Dark Sphere

Is a great wargamming establishment based in London Waterloo on York Rd. It sells miniatures, scenery,  and all manner of  hobby related items. It  has thriving community of wargamers. They run events on on most evening and weekends from D&D, Maulifaux, Magic, Warmachine,Magic &  Warhammer 40k. The staff are really helpful and the Shop and Gamming centre have a wonderful atomsphere. It is a great place to meet fellow gamers and get your miniatures or gaming supplies from. they offer a very competitive discount and extensive range of products as well if you dont see what you are looking for ask as they do have a huge range of miniatures, paints, trading cards and other items.

Blood Angels Army Project

I have been working on my Blood Angels 3rd Company since 2010. This project was in memory of a child hood friend who passed away recently, who I started playing wargamming with. I will be putting up pictures once a month as I work on the army. The army is based on the 3rd company of the blood angels before Captain Tycho fell to red thrist.

The main goal is to create the third company using force organisation sheet from the codex Blood Angels.
There will also be some big  Forge world models as well.
